Discourses on Europe - “A Soul for Europe”

What can culture do for Europe? Who can answer this question best? - We invite representatives of European arts and culture to Brussels for a discussion with leading EU-politicians about Europe, its aims, opportunities and risks.

Our intention is to provoke a change of perspective amongst top-ranking EU policy-makers by means conceptual stimulation from non-political actors.

The guests are therefore mainly high-ranking representatives of the European Union: the presidents and members of the Council and the Commission, the Presidium of the European Parliament and the chairs of the parliamentary groups.

Discourses on Europe reach a broad public in the European Union and beyond. ARTE and PHOENIX are our continuous media partner.

Our series will be re-started after the EU-elections of 2009. A local series in the European capitals addressing national politicians is being planned.
